USF Botanical Gardens

The 2011 Butterfly Herb and Native Plants Fair (http://goo.gl/k0F1u) is June 11 and 12. The Maypop (Passiflora incarnata, purple passionflower) covers two of the event's themes. It's a native plant that provides tasty fruit for jams and jellies. It also acts as a host plant for Zebra Longwing and Gulf Fritillary butterfly larvæ.
