Nov. 6&7 Ruskin Seafood Festival

The Ruskin Seafood Festival is among the annual festivals that you will look forward to every year... and it’s not just because of the seafood (even though that is the “main course”). The Ruskin Seafood Festival is held every first weekend of November. There is a lot to do and see and eat, of course and the waterfront atmosphere is so much fun!

Yosemite Falls is visible from numerous places around Yosemite Valley, especially around Yosemite Village and Yosemite Lodge. A one-mile loop trail leads to the base of Lower Yosemite Fall.
America's Best Idea – the national parks – gets even better with several fee-free days at more than 100 national parks that usually charge entrance fees*.
Visit one of your national parks on Veterans Day, November 11, 2010, and you won't be charged an entrance fee.
And making the fun even more affordable, many national park concessioners are joining the National Park Service in welcoming visitors with their own special offers.
We'll post the complete list of fee-free days in 2011 shortly. In the meantime, you can mark your calendar for these fee-free days in 2011:

Swamp Fest November 6 & 7

The Land O Lakes SWAMP FEST is returning in 2010 for its third season, be sure to mark your calendars for this great community event. You can expect all of the same fun and excitement you have come to know as well as more entertainment, food, unique vendors and more.

Mid Way with rides and activities for all ages, by Wade Shows, Inc. Armbands being sold at the event and at the following locations: Sanders Elementary, Sunlake High School, Land O' Lakes High School, Pine View Middle, Rushe Middle School, Kids Stuff, and Denham Oaks Elementary. Armbands will be $12 in advance or $20 at the door.
