Just wanted to let you know of an event I’m helping with tomorrow, Saturday November 13. We are helping out our Soccer Coach Ron Cox from Land O lakes and his family. Ron is recovering from Pancreatic Cancer Surgery, you may know his wife Amye Cox or sons Austin and Jeffrey. Austin (15) is also battling a serious illness. They are a self employed fabulous family. We figured they have put in over 3000 volunteer hours in the last 12 years to coaching, community service and PTA. Our team knows that if we can just match a portion of those hours volunteering our time for him that we can help ease their financial burdins.
I am hosting an event tomorrow for them and would love you to stop by. It’s a FREE CARNIVAL and HUGE YARD SALE located at Harvester United Methodist Church. The yard sale starts at 8:00 and the Carnival at 10:00. The carnival is FREE and we will have our big inflatable obstacle course, inflatable jousting a few other attractions as well as carnival games with prizes. We will accept donations, prayers and well wishes. We’ll have hot dogs and concessions for sale. Invite your neighbors for an hour or two of fun. This event promises to be First Class just like the Cox Family.
**If you are a coach it would be great if you could invite your team over after your game for a friendly challenge of jousting or a race through our huge inflatable NFL obstacle course.
The Church is located on Collier Parkway next to Our Lady of the Rosary just about ¼ mile from the REC CENTER.
